The lateral distribution of the magnetic layer beneath Tarim Craton and its environs was estimated from spectral analysis using newest high-resolution aeromagnetic dataset mainland China, which is enlarged by EMAG2. As a proxy, Curie point depth (CPD) provides comprehensive view crust-scale thermal regime, accounted for at magnetite becomes paramagnetic, correspondence CPD with tectonic regime indicates that useful delineating regional crustal structure. Furthermore, variations in provide insights into lithospheric state surrounding areas can be related to ancient active tectonics, such as geothermal activity, seismicity, mineral-petroleum generation. In interior, NW domain covering Bachu Uplift corresponds minimum signature geometry this area, most likely linked Permian plume-lithosphere interaction. contrast, other domains are characterized large values (up 50 km), floored Precambrian basement without magmatism modification. Moreover, consistent surface heat flow measurements an inverse correlation, assist identifying potential area mineral deposits hydrocarbon fields. Earthquakes mostly concentrated gradient transition zones surface, suggesting these abrupt variation structure act secondary mechanism earthquake
